Guns N’ Roses hail Chris Cornell at anarchic gig

GUNS N’ ROSES paid tribute to the late Chris Cornell during their first shows on British soil for 24 years.
Emotions ran high as the Paradise City legends’ original line-up — Axl Rose, 55, Slash, 51, and Duff McKagan, 53 — added the Soungarden singer’s Black Hole Sun to their set list at London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Friday and Saturday.
But after doffing a cap to the ’90s rocker, who took his own life last month, aged 52, it was back to anarchy — as fans fought in the mosh pit and had to be separated by security guards.
