IT SEEMS Lorde’s music really does have the ‘ex’ factor after she issued a warning to future boyfriends.
Taking a leaf out of pal Taylor Swift’s book, the singer, 20, has revealed she has no problem penning lyrics about her former flames.
‘I’ll probably write about you. My approach is, “Deal with it”,’ she said.
Reflecting on her split from photographer James Lowe last year, Lorde — real name Ella Yelich-O’Connor — told Aussie TV show 60 Minutes: ‘It’s pretty gnarly. It’s definitely something I’m going to remember.’
Back with her new album Melodrama, out now, the Kiwi-born star performed at Sunday’s iHeart Radio Much Music Awards in Toronto, where she was named international artist of the year.
