Scarlett schools troll after ‘brain dead’ taunt
AS MILLIONS of teenagers across the nation were receiving their GCSE results today Scarlett Moffatt used her qualifications to see off a mean troll.
The Gogglebox participant-turned-presenter wasn’t having any of it when one follower labelled her ‘brain dead’.
It all kicked off when the I’m A Celebrity champ tweeted a message of support to GCSE students.
‘To anybody worrying about their GCSE results today remember that Pitbull rhymed “Kodak” with “Kodak” and he is a millionaire,’ she posted.
But one guy, Joshua Hodges, couldn’t resist taking a pop in response, tweeting: ‘And remember Scarlett Moffat made money by watching tv on tv. Anyone can be successful no matter how brain dead.’
But he picked the wrong person to mess with as Scarlett, queen of the one liners, shot back with: ‘I have 13 A*-C GCSEs, 3 A levels and a 2:1 bachelors degree mate. But if you work hard & be kind you can achieve anything.’
Fans loved it, with one declaring the put down was ‘bound to appear on a “30 Times Twitter Trolls Got Owned” list’, while another summed it up aptly: ‘Schooled! well done Scarlet [sic] that should shut him up.’
