New Hope Club had to call in the fuzz for video

THE opportunity to star in a music video would float most people’s boats… but pop rock trio New Hope Club say they upset the locals while filming the promo for their track Crazy.
The Brits told GP that stallholders shooed them off Venice Beach in Los Angeles, demanding that their faces be fuzzed out. ‘We were opposite someone’s stall and the people who owned it got really annoyed with us,’ said the lads — Reece Bibby, 20, Blake Richardson, 19, and George Smith, also 19.
‘They came over and stood in front of us while we were shooting the scene and said the only way we could use that part of the video is if we blurred their faces out for the whole shot.’
