Muse’s Matt Bellamy reveals he may have been victim of an alien abduction

IT REALLY was a case of ‘beam me up’ when Muse frontman Matt Bellamy revealed he may have been the victim of an alien abduction.
He said the possible extra-terrestrial encounter took place when he was a teenager, driving back from a girlfriend’s house.
‘I saw this flashing light in the woodland and it was really unusual because it was like one in the morning,’ recalled Matt. The singer then experienced a Supermassive Black Hole in his memory.
‘I remember waking up at home and, to this day, I don’t quite remember the journey home from there.’
Matt insists he hadn’t been boozing — although he admits home-grown wacky baccy could have been responsible. ‘I was driving, so I definitely didn’t drink anything,’ maintained the 39-year-old. ‘But I may have smoked something grown in Devon,’ he added sheepishly. ‘It was some kind of tobacco.’
Don’t worry Matt, we’re sure the truth is out there.
Meanwhile, there must be something in the water at Muse HQ because bandmate Dominic Howard reckons he has grappled with goblins.
‘I have been dragged out of my bed by goblins,’ spilled the drummer, 39, before explaining he suffers from a form of sleep paralysis. ‘You’re in bed and feel like you can’t move,’ Dom told Radio X.
‘There’s a threatening, ominous presence in the room. It’s called an incubus, a little thing that sits on your chest… but there are extreme cases where you can be dragged around your bedroom.’
