Mud for it… Carey Mulligan shines at film launch
GLITTERING Carey Mulligan was a world away from her latest role when she stepped out on the red carpet in London’s West End last night.
The British actress, 32, pictured, beamed in a shiny frock for the premiere of Mudbound, in which she plays a farmer’s wife in Mississippi after World War II.
She was joined by singer Mary J Blige who co-stars in the film, which is being shown as part of the BFI London Film Festival.
Also in town to promote his latest project, Stronger, was Hollywood star Jake Gyllenhaal.
The American actor gave a talk at a screening earlier in the day.
