Michael Bublé confirms… it’s a baby girl
CANADIAN crooner Michael Bublé has confirmed that he and wife Luisana Lopilato are expecting their first daughter.
The news comes after the couple — already parents to Noah, 4, and Elias, 2 — have spent a harrowing couple of years seeing their firstborn through a ‘devastating’ liver cancer diagnosis.
But speaking to Today FM, Michael, 42, sounded excited at the prospect of adding a third child to their brood.
‘I’ve got my first little girl coming in three weeks, and I’ve actually never said that before in public. I’ve got a daughter coming,’ he said.
In March, while hosting the Juno Awards in Vancouver, Canada, he first revealed that he and Luisana, 31, were expecting again, saying: ‘Oops, you did it again — my wife and I are pregnant with our number three. I love you so much, mi amor.’
The news came just a month after Michael had posted that his son Noah, for whom he put his career on hold in 2016 when the illness was diagnosed, was ‘progressing well’.
He wrote: ‘We are so grateful to report that our son Noah has been progressing well during his treatment and the doctors are very optimistic about the future for our little boy. He has been brave throughout and we continue to be inspired by his courage.’
Michael and Luisana met when the actress appeared in his 2009 video Haven’t Met You Yet video, going on to marry in her native Argentina in 2011.
