Kylie Minogue in tears over love split
FORGET tears on her pillow… it was tears on TV for Kylie Minogue as she talked about the end of her engagement to toyboy Joshua Sasse.
In an interview for Australian TV, the pop princess, 49, welled up as she discussed the pair’s sudden split — amid rumours he cheated on her — last year.
‘I wasn’t so much heartbroken, as (I was) just a bit broken as a person,’ she said.
Her emotional confession came after she pushed back at unlucky-in-love slights as she faces turning 50 in May a singleton.
With famous romances to Jason Donovan, Michael Hutchence and Olivier Martinez in her black book, the Dancing singer said: ‘I know people often like to paint me as a bit of a failure in that department, but maybe it’s not my destiny yet to have met the one.’
As Kylie spilled the beans, British-born budding actor Sasse, 30, posted a poem on Instagram which read: ‘Rudeness is only an admission of fear.’
