Katy Perry’s secret gig for a fan too sick to get to show

KATY PERRY surprised a cancer-stricken fan when she sang for her in her living room after learning the eight-year-old was too sick to attend one of her concerts.
The US singer responded to an appeal by Tiana Moores, who tweeted that her little sister Grace, ‘Katy’s biggest fan’, would miss Monday’s show in Adelaide, Australia, following brain surgery.
In her tweet, Tiana, 16, said: ‘Please help us try and get in contact with @katyperry.’ Her appeal worked when #HelpGraceMeetKatyPerry had 20,000 retweets and the star’s team got in touch.
The family kept the visit a secret, and Tiana told BBC Newsbeat: ‘Katy came to the house in her big cars and it was really incredible. Grace was just speechless.’
Perry, 33, sang three acoustic songs — Roar, Firework and Chained To The Rhythm — in Grace’s living room on Tuesday before giving her an official T-shirt.
Perry posted a clip online of her with Grace wearing her present. She dubbed Grace her ‘new merch model’.
