Zayn Malik’s a no-show as he tunes up

ZAYN MALIK left fans hanging again when he bailed hours before the Billboards show.

The ex-1D star, who has previously quit gigs over anxiety issues, said he was too busy in the studio to attend the bash with girlfriend Gigi Hadid, 22.

The Pillowtalk singer, 24, tweeted: ‘Can’t make it to #BBMAs tonight and know I’ve been away for a bit… finishing up new songs for you. Be back soon.’

It meant he was unable to collect his Top New Artist trophy in person.
