You shouldn’t give me house Vroom…

CHARLI XCX left friends fuming when she asked to borrow their house in LA — and then texted 500 hangers-on to come over for a party.
In an exclusive catch-up with Guilty Pleasures, the pop babe lived up to her reputation as one of music’s biggest caners, admitting she is a Sucker for a big night.
‘I once had a huge party at a friend’s house in LA and may have sent the text out to 500 people,’ Charli revealed sheepishly, admitting the host was ‘not that happy’. She added: ‘It was fun, but not for them — don’t ever give me the keys to your house!’
However, the Vroom Vroom singer insists she doesn’t always live life in the fast lane. ‘I love to party for sure, but it’s not the only thing that defines me,’ she said. ‘I take what I do really seriously. I love being in the studio and being creative. I’m not one-dimensional.’
Indeed, the 24-year-old — real name Charlotte Aitchison — recently went off the grid when she escaped to the countryside for a writing session.
‘Where’s Ed Sheeran from? That’s where we went, Aldeburgh. It was so beautiful. My phone wasn’t working and I broke my laptop, so I was completely uncontactable.’
Back with new single Boys, Charli confirmed on the fella front that ‘yes, I am single’ after splitting from Royal Blood’s Mike Kerr.
She is more interested in mingling with her girlfriends — including getting lost with bestie Rita Ora at Glastonbury last month. ‘We got totally left on our own,’ recalled Charli. ‘We were running around having no idea where we were going, asking everyone for directions.’
