Wyclef mistaken for armed robber

WYCLEF JEAN is to ‘sue the LAPD’ after he was mistaken for an armed robbery suspect.

The Fugees star, 47, took to Twitter to tell fans of his fury after he was handcuffed by police for a crime committed by a black man in a red bandana.

‘Why am I in handcuffs? LAPD another case of mistaken identity,’ he wrote. The musician also shared a video on Instagram of him being apprehended.

He says he was ‘in the studio’ when a robbery occurred at a petrol station. The LAPD has made no comment.
