Will Young Pitches up for Beeb again

HOPEFULLY there’ll be no walk-offs when Will Young joins Seal, Chaka Khan, Joe Jonas and Bebe Rexha on new BBC show Pitch Battle.

Singer Will, who quit last year’s Strictly out of the blue, will be a judge on the Saturday night show to find the next big music group.

Hosted by ex-GBBO star Mel Giedroyc, Milkshake singer Kelis and choir master Gareth Malone, groups will be set choral challenges — including riff-offs inspired by the movie Pitch Perfect.

The six-part show debuts on BBC1 in the summer.
