Who’s that with Lin at the Oscars lunch?

LIN-MANUEL MIRANDA may be an incredibly successful performer, composer and playwright, but that didn’t stop him acting like a fan boy at yesterday’s Oscar hopefuls luncheon.
The Hamilton creator — and nominee for best original song for How Far I’ll Go from Disney film Moana — posted a series of revealing behind the scenes tweets, starting with a sweet pic of him and his mum, captioned simply: ‘I am HAVING A BIT OF A DAY. Stories soon.’
Next Lin marvelled at the organisers’ attention to detail: ‘There were Oscars pool floaties at the thing.’
Then things got exciting, as he began to mix with the Hollywood big-hitters.
First there was a certain Lord Of The Rings star: ‘We met Viggo Mortensen,’ Lin tweeted. ‘He speaks gorgeous fluent Spanish. My mom almost floated away.’
Then he stood next to a casually dressed Pharrell Williams for the ‘prom’ shot:
‘You eat lunch and they put you on a giant dais to take a prom pic with all the nominees. Here is Oscar’s butt and Pharrell,’ he tweeted cheekily.
Next Lin got a selfie with Matt Damon and Natalie Portman:
Before landing the piece de resistance:
Or as Lin put it: ‘Spielberg & my mom. I mean what even.’
