Victoria Beckham passes on Girl Power baton…
VICTORIA BECKHAM was in party mood as she turned 44 yesterday — but put a dampener on the occasion by again dismissing speculation she is to rejoin the Spice Girls.
Posh celebrated her big day by posting a sweet snap of herself posing with children Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 13, and six-year-old Harper in sunny LA.
But she used the moment to manage the expectations of fans who reckon she’s playing coy about getting back behind the mic.
Rumours have been rife Victoria and the girls are planning a comeback tour since they met up in London earlier this year.
But the singer-turned-fashion designer told Grazia magazine: ‘There is no tour but it was great getting together with them. We were just saying Girl Power is such an important message and how do we pass the baton on to future generations? And that’s what it’s about with us. It’s not about going on tour and recording new material.’
