Tom Daley worries fans with hospital shots
TOM DALEY sparked concern after posting a picture of himself in a hospital bed ahead of his rumoured wedding this weekend.
The handsome Olympic diver was pictured tucked up in bed wearing a hospital gown, but he seemed to be on the mend as the image showed him raising a cuppa to the camera.
Striking a stoical tone, Tom captioned the image: ‘What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. #AtheleteLife. Back on the board soon.’
But concerned fans deluged young Daley with get well soon messages, with one commenter referring to reports in The Sun that he was set to wed fiance, screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, this weekend.
‘Oh dear god. So maybe no wedding this weekend then like a certain paper is stating 😉 Get well soon Tom,’ they wrote.
Others took a more jovial tone, hoping that Dustin — from whom Tom secretly split last year amid cheating rumours — had a good bedside manner.
‘@DLanceBlack better get ur nurses uniform ready ! Lol,’ wrote one.
Although Tom didn’t comment on any imminent nuptials, he did indicate in a Twitter message what might have been behind his hospital visit.
‘I’m getting old,’ the 22-year-old wrote, ‘my hips needed some help.’
