Time to rap it in? Eminem track sparks Kick Off

EMINEM is renowned for shocking fans with his explicit lyrics — and new track Kick Off is proving no exception.

The rapper, 46, talks about drugs and sex in the 11-minute single and name drops many celebs, including Ariana Grande in a reference to the Manchester bombing.

But fan reaction to the release is well and truly split.

‘Eminem is a legend. One of the greatest… most influential rappers ever. But it’s time for him to put down the mic,’ tweeted one.

But another was full of praise for Slim Shady, posting: ‘Eminem is far too talented for his subject matter to still be what it is at 46 years old. That’s where the disconnect is. His fanbase grew up, he didn’t.’

Kick Off follows Eminem’s recent diss album, Kamikaze, which debuted at No.1 on the US Billboard 200 album chart in September.
