They’re here! It’s twins for Beyoncé and Jay Z

BEYONCÉ has given birth to twins. The pop superstar, 35, and husband Jay Z, 47, ‘are thrilled and have started sharing the news with family and closest friends’, said People magazine.

Her father Matthew Knowles, 65, yesterday tweeted, ‘they’re here!’, next to a photo of a balloon-filled photograph signed ‘love, granddad’. The couple, who already have a daughter Blue Ivy, five, have yet to release a statement. Beyoncé welcomed the new arrivals last Monday, but was told to stay in hospital because of a ‘minor issue’, website TMZ claimed.

Former US president Barack Obama sparked talk Beyoncé was expecting girls in a video for the rapper’s induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

The father of two girls said Jay Z was ‘going to have me beat once those twins show’.
