The truth is out bare! Gillian Anderson goes nude for anti-fur fight

AFTER tackling aliens as FBI agent Dana Scully, Gillian Anderson went extra undress-trial to make a stand against wearing fur.

The 49-year-old actress went from X-Files to X-rated by posing nude on billboards for the animal rights group Peta, wearing nothing but a smile and a pair of pussycat ears.

‘I found it liberating to use my body to make an important statement,’ said Gillian, who has announced she is leaving the US sci-fi series.

‘People tend to look away from anti-fur ads showing mangled animals, but they’re drawn to Peta’s “naked” campaign, and I’m proud to be a part of it.’
