That’s knife! Stormzy shrugs off stabbings

STORMZY reckons becoming a stab victim was just a ‘blip’ on his meteoric rise to fame.
The Gang Signs & Prayer rapper says that despite surviving a violent past, he is not in music to be seen as a role model.
Sharing shocking details of his life before success, the 25-year-old south Londoner said: ‘I was on the road… many things happen. I did this, I did that, I got stabbed a couple of times. But that’s a blip in my story.’
Since topping the charts, Stormzy has weathered a string of controversies. Putting those headlines in context, he told Vogue: ‘I never said I’m a role model; people picked me for that.
‘I’ve always said I’m a flawed human. I use the c-word way too often, I can be a bit ignorant sometimes. I park on double yellows… and I don’t give a f***.’
