Super-her-o! Brie Larson’s new Marvel trailer

BRIE LARSON has teased fans with a new trailer for the female-led Captain Marvel movie.

The two-minute clip opened with Larson, as former fighter pilot Carol Danvers — and now one of the Kree noble warriors — battling on a train with what appears to be an old woman, but is later revealed to be an evil Skrull.

Danvers is the first female Marvel superhero to have her own standalone movie. This is also the first Marvel film to be helmed by a woman, Anna Boden, who co-directs with Ryan Fleck. Sharing the trailer on Instagram on Monday, Larson, 29, captioned it: ‘I’ll just leave this here.’

Captain Marvel will be released in UK cinemas on March 8.
