Straight-talking Zayn Malik is happy he shared pain

ZAYN MALIK was paranoid fans might think he was ‘ungrateful’ before he explained his no-show at gigs was due to his battle with anxiety.

The Dusk Till Dawn singer said a weight was lifted when he shared his mental health battle.

‘I feel like it was only a positive impact on everything that happened,’ said Zayn, 24.

‘People now have a better perspective on where I was coming from… an understanding I wasn’t being ungrateful.’

Baring his soul to Us magazine, Zayn added the ‘nice reaction’ from fans was a ‘bonus’.
