Stormzy/Love Island collaboration doesn’t happen

THE collaboration everyone was hoping for didn’t happen… but Stormzy did doff his cap to Love Island’s Kem and Chris.

Rumour had it that Britain’s biggest grime star would perform with his superfans from the reality TV show — Kem Cetinay and Chris Hughes.

Instead, Stormzy, 24, gave them the best spots in the house for his gig on the V Festival’s main stage last night.

‘They’re my f***ing brothers, we’re going to link up after,’ he told the crowd — and he kept his promise.

However, the Shut Up hitmaker did bring out special guest Lethal Bizzle for his ‘storming’ set. ‘Grime needs to be on the main stage every f***ing year,’ exclaimed Stormzy, adding he has ‘no agenda but to create history’.

He was feeling the love after he also performed at V’s Weston Park in Staffordshire on Saturday, tweeting later: ‘Still feeling blessed, still blinded by his grace.’
