Stephen Fry: I know you don’t want to, but vote!

CELEBRITIES from Stephen Fry to Scarlett Moffatt urged the nation to get out and vote today.
Fry acknowledged that the prospect was hardly appealing in a Twitter post that read: ‘Vote vote vote. I know you don’t want to, but please do. It’s your vote that may bring change & a dash of hope & belief. So vote vote vote!’
And I’m A Celebrity winner Scarlett wasn’t going to be put off either.
‘No woman in my family before my great-grandma could vote & billions still can’t! Democracy is precious. Please vote,’ she wrote.

Singers from Adele to Matt Healy also urged their fans to head to the polling station, with the Hello singer posting a picture, captioned simply: ‘Vote x’
Meanwhile, The 1975 singer was a little wary of using his ‘platform’, but did try to influence his fans anyway — by offering to ‘send nudes’.
And Frost/Nixon actor Michael Sheen issued an enigmatic but heartfelt plea, writing: ‘I’m voting for students, carers, nurses, teachers, the police, the homeless, the arts, for responsible business. I’M VOTING FOR THE FUTURE.’
