Star Wars’ Carrie Fisher ‘used drugs days before her death’

STAR WARS actress Carrie Fisher had cocaine in her system that may have been taken three days before she died, a coroner’s report released last night revealed.
The 60-year-old also had traces of heroin and ecstasy when she arrived at a Los Angeles hospital after falling ill on a flight on December 23 last year. Fisher died four days later. Last week, a coroner ruled she died from sleep apnea and a combination of other factors.
The report states: ‘Ms Fisher suffered what appeared to be a cardiac arrest on the airplane accompanied by vomiting and with a history of sleep apnea.’
Investigators added: ‘We cannot establish the significance of the multiple substances.’
