Spears: Pray for our baby

BRITNEY SPEARS’ niece has been hospitalised and is reportedly in an ‘extremely serious’ condition following a car accident.

Maddie, 8 — the daughter of Britney’s younger sister Jamie Lynn — was travelling in an off-road vehicle during a hunting trip at the weekend when it flipped and she was trapped under water for several minutes, according to TMZ.

But the family has issued a statement claiming: ‘The details the media are reporting surrounding the incident regarding Jamie Lynn’s daughter Maddie are incorrect.’

They did, however, thank fans for their ‘prayers and support’.

Jamie Lynn’s father Jamie Spears told Entertainment Tonight: ‘All I can say is pray for our baby Maddie.’
