So, was it one mayor for the road, Katy?

KATY PERRY confirmed her reputation as pop’s queen of politics by celebrating with the mayor of London after her controversial show at the Brits.
The 30-year-old, who was vociferous in her support of US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, became pally with Sadiq Khan at a VIP after-party on Wednesday.
‘They seemed to be getting on swimmingly and were locked in deep conversation,’ one guest told Guilty Pleasures as the unlikely pairing hobnobbed in a roped-off drinks area at the Universal Music and Soho House bash.
Khan, 46 — who was at the party at 180 The Strand with his wife Saadiya — seemed to enjoy chatting to Katy.
But she couldn’t persuade him to join her and Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw behind the decks.
Perhaps she was bending the mayor’s ear about London’s housing crisis amid tongue-in-cheek claims that this was the inspiration behind her Brits performance. The American star took to the stage at London’s O2 surrounded by ‘dancing houses’ and a pair of skeletons dressed as president Trump and prime minister Theresa May.
Social media went into meltdown when one of the houses fell off the runway. ‘Watching the London housing market get away from you,’ quipped one Twitter user, while another added: ‘House prices falling.’
Yesterday, fans were reassured the tumbling house dancer was in one piece. A pal of Perry’s said: ‘Falling dancer is OK. Katy went to see her as soon as she heard and spent some time with her. She gave her a hug and reassured her it was OK.’
Ahead of the Brits, Katy shared snaps of herself tucking into a steak to line her stomach.
