Sneaky peek at Blinders…

CILLIAN MURPHY is locked and loaded in this first look at the new series of Peaky Blinders.

The 40-year-old was seen yesterday pegging it along the streets of Toxteth, Liverpool, in the fourth run of the gangster drama set between the two world wars.

Murphy reprises his role as Thomas Shelby, but creator Steven Knight, commissioned for a fourth and fifth series, has warned fans that the Birmingham gang leader will soon be hanging up his cap. ‘Whether that happens at the close of five is the question,’ he said. ‘I want it to end when the first air raid siren sounds.’

Tom Hardy, 39, will also return as gangland boss Alfie Solomon when series four airs on BBC1 later this year.
