Smiles better! Dec’s delight at baby news
DECLAN DONNELLY could not keep the smile off his face after confirming he is to become a father for the first time.
The dad-to-be was beaming from ear-to-ear yesterday, just hours after sharing some much-needed happy news.
The 42-year-old grinned for the cameras as he left his home in Chiswick, west London, having told fans he and wife Ali Astall, 40, are starting a family.
Ali, who is the TV host’s talent manager, was also pictured wrapped up in a pink coat waiting for a train near their pad.
Dec has been putting on a brave face in the wake of best pal and telly partner Ant McPartlin’s recent woes.
Earlier this month, Ant, 42, revealed he was returning to rehab and putting his TV career on hold after being charged with drink-driving following a car crash. The I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! co-host will appear at Wimbledon magistrates’ court on Wednesday next week.
Dec will present the remaining two episodes of ITV’s Saturday Night Takeaway alone after the pair decided they ‘owe it to the audience to complete the series’.
