Showering in cold leaves Jack O’Connell in a lather…

SIZE matters to Jack O’Connell, who’s biggest bugbear about showering nude on stage is… shrinkage.

The English actor is currently making a splash in a West End production of Tennessee Williams’s Cat On A Hot Tin Roof.

And cold water is not a man’s best friend, Jack brrrr-istled, ‘Obviously, scientifically, any male will know you tend to shrivel in cold water. That was a concern,’ he explained.

The ex-Skins star told Variety he was allowed to wear swimwear to ‘keep my modesty intact’, but found it ‘more distracting’.

‘When does anyone really shower with underwear?’ said the 26-year-old, who stars with Sienna Miller, 34, in the play at London’s Apollo Theatre.
