Serena Williams: Gigi Hadid’s one of the few I’d leave my girl for

THERE aren’t many people Serena Williams would leave her baby girl for — but Gigi Hadid is one of them.

The tennis ace left two-month-old Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr with billionaire fiancé Alexis Ohanian to serve up some gushing praise for the model at an awards bash.

And the new mum told Gigi, 22: ‘That shows how much you mean to me’.

Handing Gigi the Supernova prize at the Glamour Woman of the Year Awards in New York on Monday, Serena told her pal: ‘I want you to imagine the effect you have on the world.

‘You understand that to be the best you have to think you are the best, work the hardest and make sacrifices,’ she said.

The 36-year-old then told guests: ‘Gigi pushes boundaries. In fact, she makes new boundaries. And she’s authentically herself.’
