See Pink Floyd’s drummer crash £3m car

PINK FLOYD’S Nick Mason has smashed a £3 million supercar — but emerged unscathed.

The same cannot be said for the McLaren F1 GTR, which was left with severe damage to its front.

The accident happened at Goodwood’s 75th members’ meeting, an event that sees motoring enthusiasts take to the tracks in a series of racing and demo laps.

Mason is an experienced driver, having previously competed in the Le Mans 24 hour race, and he didn’t appear to be going that fast when he lost control of the vehicle, careering into a protective bank.

The event had to be halted, though, and fortunately the drummer appeared to be unhurt. Or perhaps he was just Comfortably Numb?
