Sarah Jessica Parker breaks cover after Kim Cattrall attack

SARAH JESSICA PARKER tried to block out the furore when she emerged for the first time since being mauled on social media by former co-star Kim Cattrall.
Much like her Sex And The City character Carrie Bradshaw, the US actress wore full fashion armour of a huge furry coat, sunnies — and headphones.
She broke cover in New York as the pair’s famous friends started choosing sides, with one insisting that the row is ‘a catfight of one’.
The long-running feud intensified when Cattrall, 61, slammed SJP’s condolences on the death of her brother.
Calling Parker’s Instagram message ‘cruel’, she wrote: ‘You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your “nice girl” persona.’
American TV host Andy Cohen, batting for 52-year-old Parker, said: ‘I thought it was fake. I was like, “There’s no way Kim Cattrall has posted this on her Instagram”.
‘This is a woman who is in the middle of grieving the loss of her brother, which is tragic and sad. She accused [Parker] of exploiting a tragedy.’ Cohen, 49, said SJP had been publicising her TV show Divorce all week, and was responding to questions about Cattrall’s loss.
‘She simply and concisely expressed her condolences,’ he said.
‘I would not call that exploiting a tragedy. What was she supposed to do? Say something bad? People are characterising this as a catfight. There’s only one person fighting here. It’s a catfight of one from where I see it.’
The two SATC actresses have allegedly been secretly at war for several years.
