Sam Smith ’s catching up in love game

SAM SMITH fears he is lagging behind in the love game, because he has yet to have a long-term relationship.

But the Too Good At Goodbyes singer is ready to go the distance after going public with new boyfriend — the 13 Reasons Why actor Brandon Flynn, 23.

The chart-topper, 25, said: ‘I do feel I’m a bit behind in my relationships. I wish I’d been in a long-term relationship by this age.

‘But I grew up in an area where I was the only gay guy in my village,’ he added. ‘I’d definitely be emotionally richer now if I’d had a long-term relationship but, if it wasn’t easy while I was growing up, it’s hardly going to be any easier for me now, is it?’
