Royal high-five-ness caused a stir

TINIE TEMPAH says Britain is ‘years behind’ the States when it comes to embracing rap and hip hop stars into mainstream culture.
The reality hit home when he caused a fuss by high-fiving Prince William in 2014. ‘It’s only recently you had the BBC news talking about Stormzy’s album, which to me was phenomenal but in American culture it’s quite normal,’ said the 28-year-old, back with new album Youth.
Tinie told Beats 1: ‘When I performed at the Baftas it was a really big deal, and all people were talking about was how I high-fived Prince William.’
