Robbie Williams: There’s something missing in me

ROBBIE WILLIAMS has shared that he believes he may have Asperger’s syndrome — following on from the recent controversy he caused during the World Cup opening ceremony.
Speaking on Radio 2, the Let Me Entertain You singer said: ‘There’s something missing in me, I have big blind spots — maybe Asperger’s or autism.
‘I don’t know what spectrum I’m on — I’m on something.
‘It’s quite hard work being in my head — I have an interesting compulsion, addiction, mental illness, I’d say.’
The Angels singer has previously been open about his struggles with depression and anxiety, as well as sharing his drug and alcohol abuse.
He went on to say he didn’t think his issues were specifically fame-related.
‘I would have that if I was Robbie Williams the pop star or Robert Williams the labourer,’ he said.
Williams shocked millions of viewers during his recent World Cup performance by turning to the camera and giving the world a middle-finger salute.
Afterwards, he said there is a ‘block between me and sense’.
