Rita turns to fringing, not cringing

RITA ORA certainly could have done without the hassle around her controversial new song. But, wearing a whole lot of tassle, the pop star appears to have put the whole fur-Ora behind her as she bounced about on stage at Birmingham’s O2 Academy.
The 27-year-old wowed the crowds on Wednesday wearing an all-white studded number featuring prairie-style fringing and daring cut-outs.
Earlier this week, Rita issued an apology after being criticised for her latest single, Girls. The troublesome tune has been accused of having tone-deaf lyrics when it comes to the portrayal of same-sex relationships.
‘Sorry [if] how I expressed myself in the song has hurt anyone. I would never intentionally cause harm to other LBGTQ+ people or anyone,’ she said. The track, featuring Cardi B, Charli XCX and Bebe Rexha, charted in the UK Top 20.
