Riddle me this: Jim Carrey baffled by Batman co-star Tommy Lee Jones’ ‘hatred’

JIM CARREY drove Tommy Lee Jones absolutely batty when they played baddies together on Batman Forever.

There was clearly no love lost between the pair during the 1995 shoot, in which Carrey played The Riddler and Jones was Two-Face.

‘I was the star and that was the problem,’ claimed 55-year-old Carrey, recalling a restaurant run-in with Jones, now 71.

He said: ‘It was before the biggest scene we have together in the movie. The blood just drained from his face.

‘He started shaking and he got up… he must have been in mid-kill me fantasy or something. He went to hug me and said, “I hate you, I really don’t like you. I cannot sanction your buffoonery.”’
