Richard Hammond back at wheel after crash

RICHARD HAMMOND has been filmed behind the wheel for the first time since a horror crash.

The Grand Tour star, 47, was driving eight weeks after a supercar he was road-testing in Switzerland burst into flames. He escaped with a broken leg.

‘This is beautiful,’ he said while in a Mustang in a video on DriveTribe website. ‘Thank you doctors, thank you.’

The father-of-two, who feared he’d die in the smash, said driving again felt ‘better than being 17 and being given the keys to my freedom, because this time I’m ready’.
