Patrick Stewart: It turns out I’m NOT circumcised
YOU’D think every gentleman would be aware of the status of their, ahem, gentleman — not so Patrick Stewart.
Speaking to chatshow host Graham Norton, the Star Trek star revealed that he wasn’t aware he was uncircumcised until an intimate moment with his other half.
‘One night with my wife, as you do, we were talking about stuff and I mentioned my circumcision and she said: “You’re not circumcised”,’ he shared.
‘I said, “What do you mean? That’s ridiculous, I should know.” All my life my mother has told me it was fashionable at the time.
As it happened Sir Patrick was seeing his doctor the next day, so he took the opportunity to check. But the physician found in favour of his wife.
‘He took a closer look and said: “Not! I am Jewish and definitely know the difference!”‘ Sir Patrick revealed.
Realising that he might have overshared, Stewart added: ‘Oh no, my grandchildren will be watching this!’
The X-Men star also revealed that things got so emotional at last week’s Logan screening that he and Hugh Jackman held hands.
‘It got to the very emotional ending and I noticed Hugh wipe away a tear, then I did the same, and during the credits he held my hand and I was done — I was weeping and sobbing,’ he said.
