Nobody does it batter… Katy loves English lads

KATY PERRY says her English ex-lovers have left her with a taste for British lads.

The US pop babe admitted she’s still a sucker for the accent as she revealed she is coming back to these shores to play Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Hull.

Explaining she wants to tour the city’s Yorkshire pudding factory during her visit in May, Katy told Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw: ‘Of course I’ve been to a Sunday roast, babes.’

The 32-year-old said she was introduced to meat and two veg by former husband Russell Brand and recent ex-lover Orlando Bloom. ‘Many of my English boyfriends (have made a roast),’ she said. And Katy hasn’t had her fill of English fellas yet: ‘I’m very attracted to their accents, so posh.’

The Chained To The Rhythm singer added: ‘I’ve had bubble and squeak too. I’ve had it all… I love a fresh-baked Yorkshire pudding.’
