No going (Hans) Solo for Harrison

HARRISON FORD won’t know for weeks if he’s cleared to fly any more aircraft — after a potentially serious incident involving an airliner.

The 74-year-old Star Wars actor is an accomplished pilot and reportedly passed a pilot’s medical exam only last month, but on Monday he mistakenly landed on a taxiway parallel to the intended runway at John Wayne Airport in Orange County.

In an air traffic control recording of the incident, Harrison could be heard asking: ‘Was that airliner meant to be underneath me?’

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident, but as they have a backlog and there’s no ‘immediate danger’ it may take a few weeks.

This isn’t the first time Harrison has been involved in a plane incident — he was badly injured in a vintage plane crash on a golf course in 2015.
