Nigel: Bond gave me bedroom advice

NIGEL HAVERS is no slouch when it comes to playing ladies’ men, but even he was happy to take advice from the ultimate smooth operator — James Bond.

Speaking to Piers Morgan about filming love scenes, Nigel revealed: ‘Roger Moore told me that whenever he does a bed scene he’d always say to the girl before, “Excuse me, I want to apologise now if I get an erection.”

‘And then he’d pause and say, “…and if I don’t”. So you basically cover all the territory.’

Apparently this strategy came in handy when Nigel bedded his Coronation Street opposite number Audrey (played by Sue Nicholls).

‘I did a couple of bed scenes with Sue and I said that to her… it was a funny thing… there is no limit,’ he joked.
