Missy teases Timelord fans

DOCTOR WHO fans got a bit of a shock today as the Timelord’s nemesis made a teasing appearance on Twitter.

Missy — the female incarnation of the Doctor’s arch-enemy The Master, played by Michelle Gomez — popped up on the show’s official twitter account in a clip that seemed to show her giving a certain famous transportation device a fresh lick of paint.

‘Well they’ve got me back again. I’m hard at it,’ she said. ‘Popping on the base coat. It’s a lovely colour of blue I’ve got… the kind of blue you’d find on something that starts with a T and ends on an -ARDIS.’

And just in case we hadn’t got it, she added: ‘I’ll be coming out of this soon.’

Could this indicate a hostile takeover of the Doctor’s timey-wimey transit device?

Who knows. The teaser comes just a week after the current Doctor, Peter Capaldi, made the shock announcement that he would be leaving the show after the next season.
