Middletons hand George Osborne the Lawn Tennis Tub
PASS the bucket — no, really — as the Middletons schmoozed with George Osborne during a day at the tennis.
The Duchess of Cambridge’s parents were on a sugar high at Wimbledon yesterday when they shared a tub of sweets with the former chancellor of the exchequer — pictured below with his mouth full.
It pays to have regal connections as 62-year-old Carole, dressed all in white, and husband Michael, 68, scored the best spot in the house in Centre Court’s royal box.
Days earlier, their exclusive seats had been warmed by their daughter Pippa Matthews, 33, who courted plenty of attention in a pink lace frock, and son James, 30.
And Kate, 35, was at the All England Lawn Tennis Club on the first day, sporting a new, shorter hairstyle.
A fourth day of action in SW19 saw British player Kyle Edmund fall to Frenchman Gaël Monfils — hopefully all those sweets softened that bitter blow.
