Meeting Julie… I was really quite atrocious

ALLISON thinks it would be super(califragilisticexpialidocious) if she could follow in the footsteps of her idol Julie Andrews.

The US actress has already showed off her singing talents on Girls and in the 2014 TV special Peter Pan Live!

Asked if she’d like to appear in a big-screen musical, Allison replied: ‘I would love that. Julie Andrews is the closest thing I have to a saint in my life and I grew up completely inspired and in awe of her.’

She admitted nerves got the better of her when she crossed paths with the 81-year-old Mary Poppins legend. ‘It was the most nervous I’ve ever been to meet someone,’ said Allison. ‘I stammered out a few words about how she is the reason I do what I do, and I don’t think it made any sense!’
