Matt Smith puckers up, Lily James leans back… the rest is kisstory

LILY JAMES struggled to get into a perfect pucker position when boyfriend Matt Smith went in for a snog.

The former Downton Abbey star looked slightly uncomfortable, craning her neck, as Smith made his move. The loved-up couple, who began dating in 2014, were pictured strolling around New York yesterday.

Lily, 29, paired jeans with a striped blazer, while 35-year-old Matt cut a casual figure in a sweater and pink baseball cap.

During the Baftas last month, the pair sparked speculation that they will soon be tying the knot. Lily hit the red carpet wearing a ring on her wedding finger, but earlier this month rubbished any engagement rumours.

‘I’m just not very superstitious about rings,’ she explained. ‘It’s stupid, probably, but I just put rings on any finger. Also, that was a f***-off ring. I mean… that ring’s worth 1million pounds.’
