Magic Mike’s Matt Bomer: I was shunned for being gay

MAGIC MIKE hunk Matt Bomer has revealed that his parents refused to speak to him after he admitted he was gay.

The actor, 39, — who married Simon Halls in 2011 — came out in a letter to his mum and dad. ‘I would have lost my sense of direction if I tried to do it in person,’ he said. ‘There was radio silence for a long, long time, at least six months.’ They eventually made up, and ‘got down to the business of figuring out how to love each other’.
