The BBC Radio 1 DJ took a trip down memory during an exclusive chat with GP about his new children’s book, Kid Normal, (out now), co-written with colleague Chris Smith.

‘There was a girl in my form class and everyone fancied her,’ revealed Greg, 31, ‘I would nervously talk to her and think, “Oh my god, we’re really getting on.”

‘She eventually went out with one of my mates and said to him, “Your friend Graham is in my form.” I was crushed. Friends still refer to me as Graham,’ he cringed.
