Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall’s film wish won’t be granted … but she’ll be back with a bang

LITTLE MIX’S Jade Thirlwall won’t be enjoying a magic carpet ride after missing out on a role in the new Aladdin movie.
The singer didn’t make the final cut to play Princess Jasmine in the Guy Ritchie-directed remake. Not that the 24-year-old seems that fussed. Yesterday she cryptically posted a picture of herself on Instagram toting a toy gun firing a flag that read ‘Over It’.
British newcomer Naomi Scott, 24, will play the princess and will be joined by Egyptian-Canadian actor Mena Massoud as the titular street rat.
Hollywood star Will Smith is set to be rubbed the right way, too, as the Genie, who was voiced by the late Robin Williams in the 1992 Disney animated favourite.
